Journal, forms, and pages
Journal
Atelier calls the blog the Journal, but it is an ordinary Shopify blog. Create articles in Online Store > Blog posts.
- The listing gives the newest article a full width spread. Turn that off with Give the newest article a full width spread.
- Tags become a filter row above the articles.
- The article page shows the date, author, and an estimated reading time, and can show a share button.
- Comments are shown when you enable them on the blog, and are paginated. If your blog is moderated, a note tells the commenter their comment will appear once it has been reviewed.
- A More from the journal section appears below each article.
Contact page
Create a page in your admin, then set its Theme template to contact. The template includes the page content, a contact form, and a set of questions.
The form is Shopify's own and delivers to the sender email address set in Settings > Notifications.
Signup
The Signup section and the footer signup both use Shopify's customer form. Addresses land in Customers in your admin, tagged newsletter, and are marked as accepting marketing.
No third-party email service is contacted by this theme. To send campaigns, use Shopify Email or an app of your choice.
Standard pages
The page template shows the page title and content. Set Content width to narrow for reading, or wide for pages with images and tables.
You can add any section above or below the content, so an about page can carry a hero, a story, and a lookbook.
FAQ
Use the Collapsible content section. Each question is a block. An answer can be written in the block or pulled from a page, which is useful when the same policy text is needed in several places.
Rich text styling
Headings, lists, quotes, tables, links, and images are styled the same way wherever they appear, whether they come from a product description, a page, an article, or a rich text setting.
